david evans is the Evangelism Team Leader for the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, where he serves as a church consultant, evangelist and strategist. He oversees such ministries as the Apologetics Conference, The Jesus Tent at Bonnaroo and various Evangelism Conferences. 

david was awarded a ThM and a PhD in Christian Education/Leadership and Church Growth from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. He was awarded an MDiv and a ThM in Evangelism/Church Growth/Mission and Applied Apologetics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.  Prior to that, he was the founding pastor of Epiphany Baptist Church in Springfield, TN which often was in the Top 50 of Tennessee churches for baptism. An evangelistic preacher, conference leader and author of several writings, including a chapter in Together We Equip.

david has served as a missionary for the North American Mission Board, served on many committees (such as the Young Leaders Advisory Council to Frank Page of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Executive Board of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board).  He and his wife Stephanie, have been married for more than 14 years and they live in Springfield, TN with their two children Emma and Jackson.
